Control panels
Control panels for the operation and management of smoke ventilation systems in accordance with fire authority regulations.
An automated smoke ventilation system consists of smoke vents or windows, a control unit, a remote button, and cabling that connects the components. The remote button is usually placed next to the building’s exit.
The system is battery-powered. If the power is cut or the mains supply fails during a fire, the system continues to operate for several hours.
The functionality of the ventilation control units varies depending on the type of building. A well-functioning, modern ventilation system can, for example, automatically control other building systems in accordance with fire authority requirements. It can also shut down certain functions in a controlled manner if necessary.
