The wedge gasket is applied between the glass and the aluminum profile to secure and stabilize the glass.

Description
A wedge gasket in durable rubber for a secure fit in aluminum profiles mounted with 8 – 12 mm glass panes in steady glass walls.

Double wedge gaskets are sometimes used instead of a wedge and a base gasket – on certain aluminum frames and thicker glass panes (12.76 mm) for example. Item no 860399 and 862509 are primarily intended for use as double wedges, without the base gasket RG-520.

For easier installation, the glass can be sprayed with a mild soap solution.
